TikTok and Luxury Design

The social media giant TikTok has become a household name in the last few years, and high-end luxury brands are taking advantage of it! Internet trends, even the self-editing ones so popular on TikTok, are a great way to build engagement and create brand loyalty.

 

It's also helpful to build a base of younger potential buyers. This makes luxury brands more accessible and welcoming to GenZ buyers.

Trends such as DIY and knockoff replications of designer fashion also offer users that are less willing to throw down hundreds of dollars ways to hone skills and create their own versions of the newest designer product. This, like so many things in the fashion world, blur lines of ethicality, consumption, and inspiration.
